Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient Asian healing therapy orginating in China that involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body which help to restore, regulate and promote healing capacity and optimal functioning. 

 

It has a powerful and regulating effect on the body's qi (energy), positively influencing the nervous, hormonal and circulatory systems.  It is extremely relaxing and very effective in aiding stress recovery and gently encouraging the body back to a state of balance and restoring homeostasis. When balance of body, mind and spirit is achieved, health can be restored.

  

While the Chinese have understood the healing benefits of Acupuncture for centuries, current research has shown its effectiveness and further research continues to be done.  Acupuncture is endorsed by the National Institute of Health (NIH) and the World Health Organization (WHO).

 

Body-Energy Healing Therapies

Gentle hands on non-invasive techniques such as acupressure, reiki, craniosacral therapy, massage or cupping to help relax the body, release restrictions, promote circulation, re-balance energy and help the body shift out of chronic stress patterns.

Eastern Medicine principles are translated into modern lifestyle strategy. Together, we will look at how you are living and functioning day to day and explore opportunities to make positive doable changes.

 

We'll discuss and implement self care techniques and qigong energy exercises to manage stress, restore energy and resilience and rebuild vitality.

  

Qigong

Qigong is the cultivation of vital energy or life force. Qigong exercises are simple movements given to support the systems and functioning of the body, improve strength and flexibility and support health and healing.

Dragon's Way Qigong®️ is a unique 6 week program for healing developed by grandmaster Nan Lu. This program emphasizes Qigong practice and includes healthy eating and lifestyle guidance.
