Sean Rachlin, L.Ac., LMT, CST

Sean Rachlin is a NYS licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist. He earned his graduate degrees at the Pacific College of Health and Science and his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware.  Sean is Board Certified in Acupuncture with the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and has been in private practice since 2003.

"I began my career and healing journey after receiving acupuncture and cupping for stress, anxiety and back pain.  I was in my 20's trying to decide what to do with my life and was putting a huge amount of pressure on myself to figure it out. I was incredibly stressed out and had never really experienced anxiety before.  It was such an awful feeling and my body was clearly talking to me. That was my first realization that my mind and emotions could have such an impact on my whole being.   I remember feeling so much better after that first session.  I felt more grounded, my back felt better and my spirit felt freer and calmer.  Very shortly after that, I was enrolled in a program that would change my life forever."

After completing a vigorous 6 year program of Acupuncture and Massage Therapy, Sean was chosen for a unique 2 year apprenticeship where he continued to hone his acupuncture and bodywork skills and began learning and practicing Qigong.  He went on to receive advanced training in Auricular Acupuncture and additional bodywork training in Reiki, Craniosacral Therapy/Somato-Emotional Release and advanced Cupping therapy among other things.   Sean has been extremely fortunate to have studied with incredibly talented and evolved practitioners and teachers and continues to learn and grow through a wide range of experiences, including an extensive teacher training through the TCM World Foundation where he earned certification to teach Dragon's Way Qigong®.

Sean loves connecting deeply with nature and practicing Qigong.  He enjoys live music, skiing and hiking in the woods with his family, friends, his dog Cooper and anyone else who wants to join him.
