Sean Rachlin, L.Ac., LMT
I am a New York state licensed acupuncturist, massage therapist and a Diplomate of Acupuncture,
Board-Certified by the (NCBAHM)®️. I have been practicing acupuncture and body/energy work for over 20 years, earning my graduate degrees at the Pacific College of Health and Science in NY and
California and undergraduate degree In Psychology from the University of Delaware.
I have collaborated in various clinical internships and externships including the Pacific
Center of Health, Saint John's Riverside Hospital and Grand Meridian Acupuncture.
Postgraduate, I was chosen for a unique two-year apprenticeship where I continued to hone my
acupuncture and body/energy work skills and began my Qi gong practice in the tradition of the 8 Treasures.
I have since gone on to receive advanced training in a variety of areas including auricular acupuncture, tui na massage, neurofunctional and electro-acupuncture and advanced cupping techniques and have obtained certification in advanced craniosacral therapy and Level III Usui Reiki.
Shifting to a deeper engagement of Qigong practice in the Wu Ming tradition, I became certified as a Dragons Way Qigong®️ instructor by grandmaster Nan Lu and the TCM World Foundation and completed an advanced course in The Consciousness of the Five Elements.
I have always been intrigued and drawn to the body-mind-spirit connection and helping others find balance in this arena. Utilizing acupuncture, body/energy work, discussion and education, I am committed to listening carefully and understanding the needs of my clients and to working with them to feel better and empowered to help themselves.
In my personal life, I am often spending my time hiking or snowshoeing in the woods, exercising both physically and energetically, listening to music, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
